Fees and Funding
You may be eligible for funding through:
Extended Health (EAP)
EAP- Employee Assistance Program Benefits. You may be eligible for counselling services through your extended health benefits through your work, or from your immediate family members extended health benefits. However, EAP benefits may only cover up to a certain dollar amount or a certain number of sessions. Check with your employer or EAP to determine what your plan covers.
First Nations Health Authority (FNHA)
First Nations Health Benefits covers three mental health programs:
Short Term Crisis Intervention. Provides coverage for mental health counselling for crisis situations when no other mental health services are available and/or being provided.
Indian Residential School Resolution Health Support Program- Individual and Family Counselling component is open to all former Indian Residential School students and their families. Counselling is provided to safely address the broad spectrum of mental wellness issues and trauma related to the impacts of Indian Residential Schools.
Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls - Health Support Services is open to all survivors, family members, and loved ones who are impacted by the national inquiry and cases related to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls in Canada.
Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP)
You may be eligible for funding if you are a victim of a crime, The Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) assists victims, immediate family members and some witnesses in coping with the effects of violent crimes.
Residential Historical Abuse Program (RHAP)
Applicants must currently live in BC and are over 19 years of age; the applicant must have been under the age of 19 when the abuse took place, and living in a home or residential facility funded by the Province of B.C., such as a foster home or group home. Applicants are not required to prove they were abused, file police reports or name their abuser.
Fees for services:
$150 for a 50-minute session
$175 for a 75-minute session
Depending on your situation, we are open to sliding scale options for certain individuals.
$30-$60 fees for letter writing, reports, and forms.
Payment is payable by cash, check, Thera-link or Interac e-transfer. Interac e-transfer must be made prior to your session.
Services available through phone and Thera-link.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Appointments not cancelled within that timeline will be charged the full amount.
RCSW’s are authorized medical practitioners under the income tax act for the purpose of claiming medical expenses on income tax returns.
There is no tax charged on therapeutic services. RCSW's are exempt from charging GST and HST.
